The SurgiCyle reusable device sterilization program works like this:

• After in-house cleaning, instruments are wrapped as usual, returned to their instrument trays, secured and packed in totes.
• The secured totes are delivered to Sterigenics for overnight EO processing and will be ready for pickup by 8 a.m. the following morning.
• Along with their sterilized instruments—still in their original secured totes—customers receive complete traceability and processing summary records.
• Months later when the hospital is audited by JCAHO, managers will have documentation at their fingertips to confirm instruments were correctly processed.
