Sterigenics offers radiation resistance testing for a wide range of materials that may be subjected to high radiation fields, including: polymers, paints and coatings, wire and cable insulation, space and military hardware.

Three technologies in a wide range of doses

• Gamma irradiation. Sterigenics gamma facilities provide cobalt-60 testing at doses ranging from a few hundred Rads up to hundreds or thousands of kiloGrays (kGys) or MegaRads (MRads) at a range of radiation dose rates over extended periods of time.
• Electron Beam irradiation. In addition to cobalt irradiation services, Sterigenics also offers e-beam irradiation services at energies ranging from 2 to 12 MeV.
• X-ray irradiation. X-ray sources for radiation resistance testing are also available.
• Ancillary equipment and components. As a full-service provider, Sterigenics is equipped to supply electrical, water and other utility goods that may be required during irradiation.
