Sterigenics International to be acquired by Chicago-based GTCR, LLC

The present owners of Sterigenics International, private equity firm Silverfleet Capital, have signed an agreement to sell the portfolio company holding for $675 million to the Chicago-based private equity firm, GTCR, LLC. Sterigenics International was acquired by Silverfleet Capital and PPM America Capital Partners in 2004 from the Belgium-based healthcare technology company IBA (Ion Beam Applications). ...Read more.
